Executive Leadership
Sherita Buford is the distinguished Founder, CEO and President of A New You Community Development Coalition, a community-centered organization guided by a growing national vision for transformation, opportunity, and sustainable progress. An accomplished program writer and director, she also serves as an educator, mentor, consultant, community advocate, philanthropist, and generational wealth strategist.
Her educational journey includes studies at Houston City College and the University of Houston. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree, further strengthening the academic foundation, executive insight, and organizational leadership she brings to community development and program innovation.
Through housing, education, business development, personal growth, and strategic resource navigation, Sherita helps individuals and families establish stronger foundations and create pathways toward lasting opportunity. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in service, compassion, accountability, excellence, and the belief that access to knowledge can transform both lives and communities.
As a devoted mother and grandmother, Sherita understands that meaningful success is measured not only by individual achievement, but also by the legacy created for future generations. She is committed to connecting people with quality housing, education, strategic partnerships, financial empowerment, and practical tools that allow them to move forward with confidence and dignity. Her enduring mission is to inspire a new mindset, cultivate a new direction, and empower every client to become a new you.
